The Citrine Collection

Citrine is a quartz crystalline stone, sometimes called the “Light Maker,” for its obvious vibrant golden hues. Most citrine on the market today is produced by heat-treating amethyst, which is a purple stone, to achieve the yellow or warm hue of citrine. The name “citrine” is derived from the word citron, which is French for lemon. Appropriately named, considering the warm color range of this stone, from light yellow, to a darker red or brownish hue.
