The setting is what makes this piece for me. I combined a traditional bezel with modified tab-style prongs, creating a structure that feels almost medieval around the hexagonal ruby.

The ruby shows off the setting beautifully, while the oxidized sterling silver gives the whole piece a dark, old-world quality. Small in scale, but full of character.
