A softly colored four-stone Totem necklace built in a tapering, inverted-triangle composition. A wide, wonderfully wonky watermelon tourmaline anchors the top, followed by a rough aquamarine crystal, oval Oregon holley chalcedony and an inverted pear-shaped labradorite at the bottom.

My Totem necklaces are closely related to my Talking Stone pieces — unlikely combinations of stones that somehow become more beautiful when they’re brought together. This one is especially subtle, with cool watery colors, rustic textures and small asymmetrical coin-like accents of 18k gold scattered against the oxidized sterling silver.
