I loved this turquoise immediately because of the shape. The long oval cut is a little unexpected for turquoise, and it gives the stone a cleaner, more elongated presence than the shapes I usually see.

Based on the color and character, I believe it is Sonoran turquoise from Mexico. Set simply in oxidized sterling silver so the stone remains the focus.
