A pale yellow rose-cut diamond with an unusual diamond-shaped silhouette and one clipped corner — exactly the kind of stone cutting artistry that makes a stone more interesting to me. I placed a tiny white diamond at that clipped edge, turning it into one of my favorite details in the piece.

The diamond is set in hand-cut serrated 18k gold bezels, with the rest of the necklace in sterling silver. The small white accent diamond is lab grown, giving the piece a bright little flash of diamond without making it overly precious.
